A headdress consisting of a wooden circle with black, white, and pink string adorned with rows of feathers.

Notes on accession card:
"Pei maiti- Feather hat-
Weaving of Pink, Black and white around wood headpiece. Lowest layer of feathers: Red-Blue-gold-Blue-Red from macaw- cut. Second crown layer is the shiny black breast feathers of hasin (wild turkey). Ring of taller feathers from green parrot (bawa Limiya) ranging in color from Green/brown, green/violet, green/red and green/yellow with various intermediate shading. Tail feather is red and blue from Kain (macaw). At base of tail feather are two yellow feathers from ISKU and one yellow oriole feather at tip attached by beeswax."
