A headdress consisting of a wooden circle, woven pink, gray, and white string and feathers.
Notes on accession card:
"Pei Mati- Wood frame around which is woven white, pink and blue/grey cotton plus gold plant (razor grass) fiber strip wrapped around back off frame and double plumeage [sic]. Three layers of crown feathers. First level is black wild turkey feathers. Second level gold macaw and Third layer blue macaw feathers from wings (Kana). Two Blue/gold tail feathers.
