Commemoration in LA

Description

Activity report for April 23rd, Wednesday

There are too many things happening around me to get all the facts straight. I will try to be accurate as possible and let me know if anyone finds inconsistencies or factually wrong.

Again I got to Consulate General at 10 am. Parking lot attendant refused to give me the ticket. He just said don't worry and thanked me for doing great work.

I realized that reporters come only from 11am to 2pm. And yesterday was no exception. Ch18 came and stayed around for ~45mins. He was one man crew. Asked me a lot on how it all got started. So I told him the truth. We were talking on Kakao group chatting and Moon Dongho and I called for a meeting on Saturday where 6 of us decided to do one on Sunday. We met James Kim who came after he heard there were activities around Consulate General. I started doing the keeper of shrine(기원소지기) from 10am on Monday.

Female reporter from Korean Daily (중앙일보) called and I talked for about 30mins. Both Ch18 and Korean Daily reporter told me that they were reluctant to report wholeheartedly because they first suspected that we were bunch of radicals. They both "congratulated" on our success and promised friendly coverage and to promote the Saturday event.
