(지난 집회 장소에 개미가 너무 많아서, 위치가 조금 변경될 수 있습니다)
준비물: 의자/돗자리, 겉옷, 촛불 앱, 즐거운 마음
이번 주 금요일 (12월 9일) 저녁 6시에 알라 모아나, 매직 아일랜드에서 집회가 있습니다. 이번 주가 앞으로의 정국에 중요한 시점이라 생각되어 이번 주에도 촛불집회를 준비하기로 결정했습니다만, 그 이후 일정에 대해 확정된 것은 아직 없습니다. 이번 촛불집회를 하고 있을 시간에는 이미 탄핵 표결이 끝난 상황이겠지만, 촛불집회가 예정되어 있다는 사실만으로도 탄핵안 투표에 도움이 될 수 있다는 판단에서 내린 결정입니다. 가능한 한 많은 분들이 다시 한번 모여서 하와이 촛불집회에 힘을 보태 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
지난 촛불집회와 다른 점은, 오후 6시에 시작해서 불꽃놀이에 맞춰서 종료한다는 것과, 간식이나 별도의 용품이 준비되지 않는다는 점입니다. 지난 번에 사용하고 남은 LED 초와 피켓이 조금 준비되어 있습니다. 지난 주에 받으신 초를 아직 가지고 계시다면 이번 주에 가져 오세요. 스마트폰을 사용하시는 분들은 “촛불” 혹은 "candlelight" 이라고 검색하셔서 촛불 앱을 다운로드해서 오시면 감사하겠습니다. 이번에는 힘을 빼고 좀 더 자유로운 분위기로 준비할 생각입니다. 악기를 갖고 나오셔서 함께 노래를 연주하고 부르실 분이 계신다면 격하게 환영합니다. 간단한 음식과 음료를 지참하셔도 좋습니다. 자유롭게 편안히 앉아 함께하는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.
자원봉사와 자발적 모금만으로 유지되는 행사이기 때문에 내린 결정이니, 너그러이 이해해 주시길 부탁 드립니다.

Hawaii Candlelight Rally on December 9
Time: Friday, December 9, 2016 (6:00PM~Fireworks)
Venue: Magic Island (The exact location inside Magic Island could be different from the last time; We were accompanied by too many ants last Friday).
What to bring: chair, mat, sweater, candle (or candle app), happy heart
This Friday (December 9), we will have another rally at Magic Island (in the Ala Moana Beach Park) at 6PM. We decided to hold another rally because this week will be an important turning point in the current situation. By the time we have this week’s rally, the result of the national assembly vote on the impeachment will have been announced. However, the fact that we are holding a rally this week will give them the message with regard to what the people want and will help the members of the national assembly cast a right vote for the country. We would greatly appreciate it if you could join us again this week.
This week’s rally will be slightly different from last week. We will start at 6PM and end the rally when fireworks start. Also, snacks and other items will not be available this week. We have some LED candles and pickets left from last week. If you still have a candle from last week, please bring it with you. Also, you can download apps that show candlelight on your smart phone screen. Search “촛불” or “candlelight” on your app store and there are several kinds of apps you can use to show a candle on your phone screen. This week’s rally will be less formal and more flexible. You are more than welcome to bring your own musical instruments and sing songs with us, or to bring food and drinks for yourself and your family. We will be sitting in an informal circle and spending time together to support our shared cause of impeaching the President and recovering damaged democracy in Korea.
The rally is organized by volunteers and with donations so please understand that we cannot provide the same supplies.
