Willie/ goes up stairs[sic] so fast that it take/ all my time to watch him and/ keep him from going down fas-/ ter than he goes up. I am now/ sitting on the steps and have had/ to go up after him and land him/ in the bath room where he plays/ awhile and then starts up to me/ again. Why if I was so situated/ that I could have a little girl/ to play with him I think I could/ accomplish a little something. He/ gets tired of playing alone and so/ seeks me to relieve him quite often/ I am very glad you like your new board/ ing place so well. Pop has sent/ you box and directed simply [R?]./ Much love and many kisses/ from Ma, Willie, and me. Pop/ is out and the rest are all scattered/ around so send love for/ them./ Your devoted Wife/ Carrie [wise?] Willie/ again/
