The 9th picketing for the Sewol Ferry investigation in Manhattan, NY

We all long for freedom to expresss what we are and what we want. We are human beings. We want TRUTH. This is New York City Sound Device Permit which gives us a right to speak through a loud speaker. "We want to create a safe place where our children can grow and flourish." We have a right to do it here in NY. Then, do we have the same right in South Korea now? The answer is unfortunately "NO." It has been 7 months since our 304 innocent people (mostly studnets) died. And we still don't know why they died although we could have resuced them all. What kind of world do you want? This is the reason why we just can't forget the Sewol Ferry tragedy!
11/16 세월호를 위한 뉴욕 시민 집회가 있었습니다. 뉴욕시에서 받은음성장치허용 허가서를 들고 큰소리로 시위를 했습니다. 경찰에게 허가서를 보여주니... 옆에서... 지켜주기까지 합니다. 대한민국은 언제쯤 언론의 자유가 있는 국가! 진실을 말할 수 있는 국가로 거듭 태어날 수 있을까요? 아무런 죄없는 우리 아이들이 저 세상으로 간지 7달이 지났지만 진실하나 밝혀진 것이 없습니다. 어떻게 잊을 수 있겠습니까? 우리 아이들을 위한 안전한 세상, 진실이 숨쉬는 세상을 만들어 주고 싶습니다. 여러분은 어떤 세상을 원하십니까?
